Mobile Advertising Campaigns are frequently used in digital marketing and aim to reach customers by using SMS, MMS and other mobile marketing channels for their interests. The important thing to note here is that the ad content does not disturb the customer and sends it to the right audience. They should have permission from the people who will receive information about the campaign, know what kind of messages will be sent to them and ensure that they can opt out of these lists at any time. If unauthorized messages are sent, this may damage the business and the brand. To create a successful mobile advertising campaign, customers need to obtain their permissions and provide information in line with the customer’s interest. Mobile advertising campaigns can be grouped under three main headings: push, pull and dialogue.
Push Campaigns
Push campaigns can be grouped as the type of campaign to which customers are consciously sent campaign information. In such campaigns, firms and businesses often send messages about their products or services to their former customers. The important thing is to keep the relationship with the customer warm. At the same time, the customer must be aware that he / she will receive these messages and allow them. Companies should ensure that customers have permissions for such messages. In order to obtain customers, the companies purchase the information of the prospective customers from Turkcell and Vodafone operator companies. The area covered is generally games and sweepstakes. The overall duration varies from 2 to 4 weeks.
Tensile Campaigns
Dialogue Campaigns
This ad type differs from the other two campaign types in terms of duration and customer-interaction intensity. Dialogue campaigns do not contain as little as 2 to 4 weeks as push and pull and do not focus on a single theme. On the contrary, such campaigns last for several months and are added to each other to create campaigns. The aim is to establish a long-term communication with the customer and to describe the product or service in a sound manner. For example, an application receives birthday information of the customer and celebrates by sending a message on the customer’s birthday. Within this celebration message, new products that may attract the attention of the customer are added and advertised.
